Pages VS Posts
Just a quick note here about the differences in pages VS post.
Pages
Pages on your blog are “static” content not moving, stationary ,are not listed by date. Pages within WordPress can be edited however they stay in one place and remain timeless.. Pages in WordPress are not very SEO friendly.
Posts
Posts are entries that are made on a daily, weekly or monthly basis and depending on how you have set up your WordPress blog when you started will depend on where your post will appear after posted. Usually Last post will show up first on your blog site.
Posts also contain a Published date where the page that you create will not have this date.
Post also can be assigned a category and receive tags that you will include in each post to be looked at by the search engines online. Catagories and tags help you to organize your post to make it easier for your readers to find the content that they are researching.
Also, Posts may contain an author name and something else, they are displayed in your RSS feed where pages are not.
RSS feed help your readers subscribe to your latest post content.
Another note here is that there is no limit to the amount of posts or pages that you can create within your WordPress 4.2 version. So you can create,create….create.
NOTE: It is important to know that your Posts, in perspective of SEO (search engine optimization) are much more friendly to posts than to Pages. If you are using Yoast SEO in WordPress it will help you configure your post on the best search results.
Success to you….
